We had a great overall experience mostly because of the staff who went above and beyond to ensure we had drinks at the seaside which is a walk from the bar, at the poolside (thanks for Anu, Ryo/Kyo, Sameera, Dasun) and anytime we would dine at the restaurant. Water was served constantly as well. Before you notice your glass is empty, it will be refilled! The sous chefs Edi and Amin were very friendly and introduced themselves and would explain dishes and encourage us to try them if we had missed any special dish. If they knew we wanted a particular dish, they will offer to take our plate to refill. I got some local cucumber even if not in buffet as I wanted to try them! Decy from the poolbar was also helpful by asking about our day almost everyday and offering tips to improve for eg where to go to get calmer sea. She would also remember our names which was very special. The entertainment team was fun and Aimee and Charu were great, they also remembered our names. Aimee knew I wanted to dance but the dance floor was empty so she danced with me until more people came which was so nice. We also had a buggy service from our Waterville to the palace restaurant and to the atoll side.

where do i even start? after dreaming of the maldives for half my life, i finally got to go. komandoo exceeded my expectations. crystal clear water, yummy food. and while the whole point was the water, the service really stood out. faisal is the best room attendant who kept my room spotless and was just so kind. kaleem was the server who kept my water flowing and was just so nice. ranjith was the star of the chefs with his excellent cooking and kindness. also thank you to the reception for making my sandbank adventures possible! everyone went above and beyond ! bravo, komandoo!

It is an amazing resort, and I was lucky enough to spend my birthday there. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay truly special. We were especially impressed by Maniuu, who looked after us throughout our stay and made sure everything was perfect. We absolutely loved the sound and healing session overlooking the beach with the wonderful June – it was such a peaceful and unique experience. All of the restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was consistently good with great variety. The marine life around the resort is incredible. We saw sharks, many beautiful fish, and even manta rays, which was an unforgettable experience. The surroundings are simply stunning. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, which was fantastic – amazing views, a spacious and comfortable room, and the nets overlooking the ocean were my favourite spot to lie back, relax, and enjoy the scenery. I also received a birthday cake, which was not only delicious but such a thoughtful and lovely gesture. I truly felt spoiled. During our stay, we also took part in art classes with an amazing artist. I was genuinely surprised by how unhurried and detailed the experience was – he was incredibly patient, explained everything step by step, and we came away with a beautiful keepsake to remember our time there. We had an amazing experience overall. The service throughout the resort is outstanding, with staff who are consistently attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food was another highlight of our stay - particularly at the Taste buffet, where the variety and freshness were exceptional. The marine life is also incredible, with so much to see, making it a truly memorable destination. Room service was excellent as well, with delicious food delivered promptly every time at no extra charge. We also really enjoyed the pool bar - great service and a nice selection of snacks and ice cream made it a lovely spot to relax.
